Accessibility

We want calendarowl to work for everyone. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

  • Calendars on pages are real tables with headers, so screen readers can read them cell by cell; holidays are written out, not shown by color alone.
  • Text and buttons meet AA contrast; focus is always visible and everything works with a keyboard.
  • Images of printables have text alternatives, and every PDF also has an HTML page with the same dates.
  • Large print calendars are available for low vision.

We test pages with automated checks (axe-core) and by hand. If you meet a barrier, write to [email protected] with the page address and what happened. We will reply and fix what we can. Last reviewed: October 17, 2026.
