Who we are

The short version
- You never need an account, and we never ask for your name, email or phone.
- Calendars you make and events you type stay in your browser. They are never sent to us.
- No analytics or advertising cookies are set unless you accept them, wherever you are.
- We do not sell personal information.
What we process and why
- Server logs (IP address, time, page, browser type), kept up to 10 days, to run and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interests (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
- Preferences in your browser (local storage): your cookie choice, generator settings and calendar maker events. Strictly necessary for the features you use; they stay on your device.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4), only if you click "Accept": pages viewed, approximate location, device type, to understand which calendars are useful. Legal basis: consent (art. 6(1)(a)). Google Analytics is not loaded at all until you accept. If you later choose "Only necessary", we stop measurement and delete the Google Analytics cookies from this site.
- Advertising: the site shows no ads today. If we add them, we will ask for consent first and update this policy before they start.

Who receives data
netcup GmbH (hosting, Germany), Cloudflare, Inc. (network and security), and Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC for analytics if you consent. Transfers to the United States rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights (EU, UK and elsewhere)
You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time under "Cookie settings" in the footer. You can complain to the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP) or the authority where you live.
Your US state privacy rights
Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information, and no advertising runs on the site. We honor Global Privacy Control signals. You can use these rights on the Your Privacy Choices page or by email; we answer within 45 days, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Children
calendarowl is a general audience site for adults, parents and teachers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the new date at the top.
