Shift Calendars
Rotating shift patterns laid out on a real 2027 calendar. Pick a pattern, set your start date, print it.
How to use these calendars
Each schedule repeats on a fixed cycle. Once you know one day your crew worked (the cycle start), every other day of the year follows. Pick a pattern, enter that date and your crew, and the generator draws the whole year; download it as a PDF or print the page.
Choosing a pattern
- 2-2-3 (fixed): four crews, 12-hour shifts, crews stay on days or nights.
- 2-2-3 (rotating): the same sequence with crews switching between days and nights every two weeks.
- 24/48: three platoons, 24 hours on duty and 48 off, common in fire departments.
- 48/96: two 24-hour shifts in a row, then four days off.
Shift calendar generator
Set the first day of the cycle (a day your crew A or platoon A started a block), then pick a crew to highlight. Everything runs in your browser.
Questions and answers
Does the generator save my schedule?
Your last settings are kept in your browser only, so the page remembers them next time. Nothing is sent to us.
Are holidays shown?
US federal holidays are marked on the calendars, since many schedules pay holiday rates on those days.
