A blank grid for any month
This template has seven columns, six rows and nothing filled in: write the month and year at the top, then number the boxes yourself starting on the right weekday. Six rows cover every possible month, even a 31-day month that starts on a Saturday.
Use it for any year, for a month you want to plan in pencil, or for teaching: filling in a blank calendar is a common classroom exercise for days of the week and counting.
How to fill it in
- Write the month and year on the lines at the top.
- Find the weekday of the 1st (the month pages on this site show it) and write 1 in that column of the first row.
- Count on to 28, 29, 30 or 31 and leave the remaining boxes empty.
- Shade weekends or holidays if you like.
Landscape or portrait
Landscape gives wider boxes for writing. Portrait leaves room for notes under the grid and fits a binder or clipboard.
