Plan the day in one page
The left side is a schedule in half-hour slots from 6 AM to 9 PM; the right side holds your top three priorities, a to-do list with checkboxes and a notes area. An early version runs from 5 AM to 8 PM for early shifts.
A simple routine
- Write the three things that must happen today first.
- Block time for them in the schedule before adding meetings.
- Move what did not get done to tomorrow's page in the evening.
Make it last a whole year
Print a stack of thirty and keep them in a clipboard or a ring binder, one page per day. At the end of the week, glance back at what you moved forward several times; it is usually a sign that the task needs a fixed time slot rather than a place on the to-do list.
Questions and answers
Is the daily planner dated?
No. Write the date at the top so you can print a stack and use one each day.
Can I change the hours?
Two versions are available: 6 AM to 9 PM and 5 AM to 8 PM.
