Write it once, use it every year
A perpetual birthday calendar has months but no years or weekdays, so it never goes out of date. Each month box has short lines for the day and longer lines for the name. Add anniversaries, name days or the date to send a card.
Make it last
- Print on card stock (65 to 110 lb) so it survives years on a wall.
- Use a fine pen; the lines are spaced for normal handwriting.
- Keep a copy in a binder as a backup.
Beyond birthdays
Use the same sheet for wedding anniversaries, memorial dates, pet adoption days or the dates when a passport, a license or an insurance policy needs renewing. Writing the year of birth next to a name lets you work out an age at a glance.
Hang it next to a monthly calendar and copy the dates for the coming month over at the start of each month.
